Principal Update
QUEST Families,
I think I can, I think I can...this time of year is quite busy at QUEST, but we certainly hope you and your family have adopted a persistent attitude as we chug along toward the finish line. As a school community, we have so much to be proud of this year, and I have no doubt we will all finish on a positive note. Thank you for sending us such great students each day.
QUEST Graduation
QUEST students will celebrate their final year at QUEST on June 21 at 1:30. This will take place in the High School auditorium, with a reception to follow afterward at QUEST (around 3ish). As a school community, we could not be more proud of our oldest learners, and we have no doubt that great things are to come.
QUEST PTSO-Help Wanted!
Our PTSO is an essential part of QUEST, and families do a lot for our school community. Almost all of our traditions are organized by this team or parents, as well as our yearly fundraising. Our school functions so well because of their efforts.
Unfortunately, volunteerism for many PTA's across the country is at an all-time low. QUEST has had so many families step up this year to support us, and next year we hope to be able to bring on even more families. Please consider how you and your family might support a PTSO organized event. There are many ways to be involved, and we'd love to continue to increase our number of volunteers.
Placement and Supplies
Your partners at QUEST are working hard on placement, ensuring balance across classrooms. We will be sharing classroom assignments in early June and will have a moving up day on June 17th. This year, school supplies will be purchased by the school so families do not need to spend money on supplies for class. You will get a letter of introduction from your child's teacher at the end of the year, but you will notice that we will not have a supply letter attached. This is why.
Our Collective Charge
QUEST Elementary is a PYP (Primary Year Programme) school, and students should leave our school embodying the IB Learner Profiles. These profiles are the indivisible toolbox that students--and the adults--have when faced with problems and challenges. How might you infuse this language into your home? How can you reflect with your child using some of the same language? What experiences might you do, at home, that foster growth in the profiles? Take a look, and I challenge all of us to bring the profiles to life each and every day.
Thank you for being our partners in learning. QUEST is fortunate to be flooded with amazing kids and families, and we look forward to finishing this year with students at the center.

Spring is finally here and WOW, have we had some nice weather!!
This next month
has so many exciting events and celebrations and we are really looking forward
to them all!
THANK YOU
to all who attended and supported our Spring Book Fair! Your support
helps our teachers and classrooms gain access to many fun titles and story
adventures for your kids to enjoy for years to come! We hope yo stocked
up on some great summer reading books!
Our Family Fun night was a huge success! Thank you to all who helped
plan and those who volunteered- running activities, serving pizza and ice cream
and doing crafts!! It was a fun- filled evening and we were so glad to
see you all!
Be
on the lookout this week for our Spring Apparel
Sale- order forms will go out in backpacks in the next couple
days!
We
are in need of volunteers to set up for the 6th grade Graduation reception on
June 21 @ 1:30pm in the QUEST cafeteria. If you are able and willing to
help- please reach out to us at questptso@gmail.com
Our
last IN-PERSON meeting will take place on Thursday, June 2 at QUEST.
The Steering Committee at 4pm and General meeting at 5pm

QUESTival
We hope you can join us for the 2022 QUESTival!
What: A QUEST tradition! Come with your family to enjoy different outdoor
activities. Some of this year's booths include a cupcake walk, a temporary
tattoo station, lawn games, face paint and hairdos, and a wheel of fortune
game!
When: Thursday, May 26th - Join us anytime between 5:00
and 6:30 PM.
Where: The QUEST front lawn

Science Fun Day
Hello Everyone,
We are so excited to invite you back to Quest for our annual
Science Fun Day (SFD)! This year SFD will be held on June 3rd.
We really rely on parents, the community, teachers, and our high school
students to make this day a success so your participation is very appreciated.
Attached is a Google Form for you to fill out for your
presentation. If you know of anyone else that would be interested in
participating please pass along our information. If you have any

Principal Update
QUEST Families,
It is hard to believe that spring is here and we are about to head into April break. We hope you and your family have a restful break filled with plenty of time together as a family.
QUEST Office Support
QUEST has two staff members that have stepped into new roles:
- Ms. Neu is an administrative intern that will be working closely with me for the next month and a half. As student issues arise, Ms. Neu will be actively involved in supporting our students. Prior to starting as an intern at QUEST, Ms. Neu was a classroom teacher at Village Elementary, and prior to that a classroom teacher at QUEST. Welcome back to QUEST, Ms. Neu.
- Mr. Mike has been part of QUEST for the past year and a half, serving as a lunch monitor here at QUEST. Most recently he shifted into the role of building aide, where he is supporting student needs alongside the main office. During the lunch periods he continues to serve as a lunch monitor as well.
A Shift in Spanish
Mrs. Kingdollar, the QUEST LOTE teacher, will be finishing the year at the high school. Due to her transition, we will have Ms. Bianca Marascio finishing out the year with us. We look forward to Mrs. Kingdollar rejoining our school in the fall, but until then please join me in making Ms. Marascio feel right at home.
Lunch @ QUEST
QUEST is now shifting back to eating in the cafeteria. Each class will have the same lunch time, but lunches will now be eaten in the cafeteria.
Placement
QUEST has started its placement process! We appreciate all the energy and effort that the staff puts into this process. The goal is always balanced classrooms, and because of this goal we do not accept parent requests for specific teachers. We plan on mailing placement lists out in June, with a moving up day schedule for June 17th.
End of the year events will be here before we know it, and these events always serve as a time to celebrate all we are as a school community. We look forward to coming together as a school community, and finishing this year on a positive note. Thanks for your continued support, and thanks for sending us awesome learners.
